Advantages
The OS3D mask was designed in response to the shortages caused the COVID-19 pandemic.
In the process of developing a custom, 3D printable mask, we discovered that the current solutions either do not work very well or are very expensive.
The challenge for us was not to only to do something about the shortage, but also ameliorate the functionality of the new mask in comparison with the regular N95 masks.
